Jo Martin

Owner

Hi, my name is Jo Martin, Daughter of the King, Wife of George, Friend to many, and owner of Cowgirl Jo's Numbers. I love life and endeavor to live it to the fullest. As a child we imagine how our life will be; who we will marry, where we will live, who we will be, and the list goes on. I could have never imagined my life the way it is now. I used to view everything through the lenses of how I was raised, where I went to church, making the perfect choices. These things defined me. The Journey of life has a way of changing me, I realized that my value comes from being a human, created in the image of God, Holy Spirit living inside of me. Now I view my life through God’s lens, not the one that I created, the one that said I wasn’t good enough. I was created to love and be loved, to use my mind and its ability to understand finances. Because there is only one me; my unique life happenings and circumstances, and even choices that I have made make me the Cowgirl for the Job. Life has taught me many dances. I am still learning dances and I love to help you learn life's dances!!

I grew up on a dairy farm for the first 12 years of my life and then a produce farm for a few years. I’ve always had a love of numbers; and from an early age was gifted with the ability to understand them. I enjoy working with my hands cleaning up messes, organizing, and helping others. Then it was cleaning the barn and mucking stalls, milking cows, feeding calves and pigs, literally living the Cowgirl life. Now it’s a figure of speech that means I am not afraid of messiness, of rolling up my sleeves, doing the hard things, and owning those numbers! I remember as a teen helping my parents in our produce stand. My favorite part was making change for our customers. In 9th grade I loved my Junior Business Training, keeping a ledger by hand was both exhilarating and challenging! I worked for an office furniture company for a few years, which is where I can attribute learning how to think on my feet finding solutions and creating processes to make the solutions work. I took over the bookkeeping at my father-in-law’s mechanic garage in 2014 and then in late 2017 Kingdom Finance 17 was born. The end of 2020/beginning of 2021 we rebranded and Cowgirl Jo's Numbers was ushered in.

Rachel Schwartz

Sister Extraordinaire

Hey Ya’ll,

My name is Rachel Schwartz. I am one of Jo’s younger sisters. My husband Ryan and our two children Aria and Bohannon along with our Boykin Spaniel Charlie reside in Charleston, South Carolina. I started working for Jo in the Fall of 2019. When she hired me, it made it possible for me to be a Stay At Home Mom as well as supporting my family monetarily. My official title is Sister Extraordinaire. Ha-ha. I am Jo’s virtual assistant. I assist her with Data Enty, account reconciliation, and occasionally account clean up. I absolutely love numbers. I enjoy the challenge of making them match up perfectly. I like the exactness of numbers. Two of my favorite activities are traveling with my family and thrift store shopping. I love the thrill of the hunt and finding that perfect item for my closet or to resell online.

Always know that there is only one you and you are wonderful. You were place in this world for this exact moment in time. You are not a mistake.
